By whoyg2955, 04:43

Children enjoy to play with inflatable bouncers and can do it all day long if they were allowed to. It is a lucrative business for individuals to sell or rent these out for particular affairs. In order to keep these investments whole you must understand the best way to keep them clean and well maintained.

It is easiest to clean them after every use. Make sure that each of the kids are out. When it is empty you might go within and with a soft bristled broom to sweep out dirt, leaves, and other junk. Be sure that there is nothing in before you take them down and unplug the unit.

The History of the Bounce House
    By whoyg2955, 02:51

In 1959 a man named John Scurlock designed an inflatable cover for a tennis court, an idea that would eventually lead to one of the most popular party accessories available today. After watching his employees jumping around on his invention, Mr. Scurlock decided to make an inflatable mattress of sorts for a new form of fun. Eventually he expanded his idea to include larger models, and over the years the idea has transformed to become one of the coolest backyard party attractions ever. The business was known originally as the Space Walk and Mrs. Scurlock had the idea to make the inflatable fun obtainable by renting out the air filled structures. Today there are over one hundred rental facilities still sharing the fun for family parties everywhere.

The Bounce House, known by other names such as: the Moon Walk, Jolly Jumper or Astro Walk, has grown in popularity since its inception. Only rentals were available during the early years, but eventually these fun party inflatable structures have become affordable for most families to enjoy the fun in their very own backyards. Carnivals, churches and schools rent them and charge fees to raise monies. The Bounce House is a very versatile way to entertain or raise funds for events, and is a relatively safe way to make any occasion a hit.

Bounce Houses are constructed of a PVC or nylon and vinyl material which is sturdy and flexible at the same time. This material is also able to handle small punctures without damaging the Bounce House itself. Once just a mattress inflated with one or more fans, the Bounce House has become a structure with columns and a roof that is still inflated by fans. The difference in the construction is that the air has more area to move about, which takes less energy (one fan as opposed to two or more like earlier designs) and is nowhere near as hot in the summer months. Mesh is used to keep the participants from tumbling out, while also allowing parents the opportunity to watch while their children bounce around inside. And keep in mind, children aren't the only ones who enjoy Bounce Houses -- they are structurally supportive for adults to enjoy the fun as well!

There are many designs readily offered for renting or purchasing. Castles and animals are two of the most noted designs to attract attention. There are even inflatable slides for your swimming pool! Water parks are offering Bounce House structures complete with water slides as new attractions for visitors. With the internet it is easy to purchase a new or even used Bounce House of your very own. Since they are inflatable storage is a breeze, however if you don't have the space or the desire to own there are still many rental options available to you. Many rental facilities have trained staff to set up & take down the inflatable houses, as well as provide safety tips. Bounce Houses are available for any party you desire and certainly will make you the envy of the neighborhood

    Safety Measures For Inflatable Bouncers
    By whoyg2955, 02:51

Inflatable bouncers are a wonderful thing to have whenever there are occasions or family gatherings because children will surely have fun bouncing the whole day. Bouncers can be just rented or bought if you really want your kids to have their own bouncing space. As fun as these are but when these things are not properly used, it would lead to danger and injuries. It is really necessary to understand the safety measures of using these bouncers in order to prevent accident and to make it more enjoyable for the kids. Below are some safety guidelines to follow in order to ensure safety:

If you are heading for a family picnic, bringing inflatable bouncers can be a good idea but make sure that when you get there, you'll know how to install each part of the bouncer so that when kids decide to play, they will be out of harm. If you are just renting a bouncer, see to it that the company can provide a person who can do the proper set-up. When setting up, laid down a tap below it and check if it is already properly attach to the ground and it is not likely to fall or slide.

Before you let children play, test if everything is good and ask someone or keep an eye to the bouncer to make sure that children won't get hurt. Does the bouncer look like air have gone of it? Is the blower working efficiently? Do not allow children to play on it all together. An inflatable bouncer can't handle a lot of children and it will just create damage. The number of kids who will be using the bouncer will just depend on the size of the bouncer you have and the weight of the kids.

Pearl Jewelry - The Story of Pearl Hunters
    By whoyg2955, 09:44

As long as pearl jewelry have been known to people, they have been a highly sought commodity for their beauty. It's only in recent times however that the industry has taken the hunt for the perfect pearl to a whole different level. Today, the shiny orbs that we see on in display in jewelry stores have actually almost always been grown in farms. That's a far cry from the dangerous extraction and collection methods used before the invention of modern technology. In the past, not more than 100 years ago, the only way to retrieve pearls was by diving in lakes, floods and the ocean to pick them up, one at the time. The unfortunate divers who'se job it was to do this, were often poor and lured by the relative large sums they could get. The diver would sometimes have to dive as deep as 100 feet on one single breath of air. In order to preserve air and to stay submerged the longest, the divers would hold on to heavy stones on the way down. Naturally, this dangerous activity was reserved for the desperate or the powerless - in many cases slaves or extremely poor peasents. Today, this method is all but obsolete in most places of the world. The cheaper cultured pearls have become popular and are many times the only pearls available to the consumer. There are however still a few isolated areas that practice this old art of pearl diving. Some of the finest natural pearl speciments come from the gulf of Bahrain. Here, divers still risk their health to retrieve what are considered the top of the crop in the world. In fact, Bahrain wants no part of the sale of cultured pearls, banned from trade. Bahrain is one of the few places on earth that does an active job in trying to preserve the natural habitat and waters from pollution. It's an interesting story and one that continues to fascinate buyers around the world. Somehow, the beauty of the pearl grows when it's been retrieved from the depth of the ocean.

Buying Pearl Jewelry Without Being Ripped Off
    By whoyg2955, 09:39

Buying pearl jewelry can be fun, exciting and confusing. Whether you're considering a gift of pearl jewelry for someone special or as a treat for yourself, take some time to learn the terms used in the industry. Here's some information to help you get the best quality pearl jewelry for your money, whether you're shopping in a traditional brick and mortar store or online. Pearls Natural or real pearls are made by oysters and other mollusks. Cultured pearls also are grown by mollusks, but with human intervention; that is, an irritant introduced into the shells causes a pearl to grow. Imitation pearls are man-made with glass, plastic, or organic materials. Because natural pearls are very rare, most pearls used in jewelry are either cultured or imitation pearls. Cultured pearls, because they are made by oysters or mollusks, usually are more expensive than imitation pears. A cultured pearl's value is largely based on its size, usually stated in millimeters, and the quality of its nacre coating, which give it luster. Jewelers should tell your if the pearls are cultured or imitation. Some black, bronze, gold, purple, blue and orange pearls, whether natural or cultured, occur that way in nature; some, however, are dyed through various processes. Jewelers should tell you whether the colored pearls are naturally colored, dyed or irradiated. Clams, oysters, mussels and many other mollusks with limy shells are known to produce pearls. But very few kinds yield gem pearls of jeweler's quality. The pearl is an abnormal growth of mother-of-pearl, or nacre, imbedded in the soft bodies of these shellfish. It is built up, layer upon layer, in the same way as nacre is added to the lining of the growing shell and always has the same color and luster. For example, over the country, hundreds of good-sized pearls are found each year in the oysters we eat. Unfortunately these have no commercial value regardless of whether they have been cooked or not because they are dull opaque white or purple like the shell of the parent oyster. In recent times almost all pearls of gem quality come from the oriental pearl oyster which has a bright shimmering translucent nacre. A pearl starts growing when some irritating foreign substance such as a sand grain, bit of mud, parasite or other object becomes lodged in the shell-producing gland called the mantle. Pearls formed in the soft flesh where nacre can be added on all sides are most likely to be spherical and the most highly prized. By far the great majority are flattened or variously distorted and have little value. Size, color, luster and freedom from flaws are other essential qualities. Unlike other gems, such as diamonds, pearls have an average life of only about 50 years. In time the small amount of water in a pearl's make-up is lost and its surface cracks. Because they are mostly lime, necklaces which are worn often are injured by the acid secretions of the human skin.

Survival skills put to the test
    By whoyg2955, 02:50

hoots, and it all feels very Blair Witch. And I am a little bit lost.

What would Ged Lawless do? No, not a character from an Andy McNab book, but the former paratrooper who runs the UK Survival School, and who has just been teaching me how to navigate at night. Lawless is out there in the forest somewhere, and I know that if I start shouting he'll come and rescue me, but really, that would be pathetic. As would ringing him on his mobile phone. I can do pearl jewelry this myself.

There really isn't much to it, after all. The first sensible lesson is that, if possible, you shouldn't bother trying to find your way in the dark at all, but just stay put until dawn. Because then you won't trip over things? "Well, mainly because you'll have an idea of direction," Lawless had told me as we walked around this forest on the edge of Hereford some time around midnight. "Where does the sun rise?" East, of wholesale pearl jewelry course. "You'll be amazed at how many people don't know that," he says. They probably don't deserve to survive, I think meanly.

Apparently, the area underneath a holly bush provides a good, if spiky, makeshift shelter – they are dense, and evergreen.

The next thing to do – or rather not to do – is panic, for the obvious reason that unless there is someone there to hear you scream, it will get you nowhere. How does Lawless cope if he's frightened (not, I imagine, something that happens often)? "I try to pearl jewelry wholesale think of nice, happy things," he says.

    I didn't think
    By whoyg2955, 02:50

I didn't think I was afraid of the dark, but then it's not often that I find myself wandering around a forest at night - on my own. My eyes start to play tricks on me: shadows dart between bushes, and the rope-swings that hang from branches look like nooses in the gloom. Insects crackle, a freshwater pearl jewelry solitary tawny owl

There is always a point in films when a person who is lost in the desert or the snow, dehydrated and exhausted, comes across a set of their own footprints and realises they have just walked in a huge, round, life-sapping circle. This appears to be the case in real life. A recent study in Germany found that, without the sun or the moon (or landmarks) as a fixed guide, people will walk around in circles. It was originally thought that freshwater pearl jewelry this could be because one leg is often slightly longer than the other, or is stronger, but the scientists found that their subjects didn't just walk in one direction, as they would if that was the case. Instead, it appears that lots of small errors add up over time so the brain can't correctly identify the "straight ahead" direction. "To just get out of somewhere, pick a spot on the horizon and just head for it," Lawless advises.

After a while, I become more used to the forest's inherent eeriness, helped by Lawless's cheery presence and his assertion that "some forests just have a bad feeling about them, but this one doesn't". We are chatting away happily about his survival skills. Has he ever been close to wholesale pearl jewelry death somewhere? "I nearly got hypothermia once," he says. Has he ever had to eat a rat for survival purposes? "Yes," he says. What did it taste like? "Squirrel."

    Is there anything
    By whoyg2955, 02:50

Is there anything you can do to improve your night vision? "Eat your carrots," says Lawless. Really? "No, that was a joke. I don't think there's anything you can do." He says it takes around 10 to 15 minutes for your eyes to adjust to the lack of light. "You won't see a lot if you stare at pearl jewelry something – you have to use your peripheral vision." This is because the two types of receptor in the retina – rods and cones – perform differently. Cones provide us with colour, while rods are more sensitive to light – it is rods we rely on in low light, and the majority of these are sited at the outer edges of the retina, which is why our peripheral vision is more effective.

If you know which direction you need to go in, there are several ways to find this in the dark, and by far the best is to establish north using the stars. For this you do need to know a akoya pearl jewelry bit of basic astronomy, but most people can identify the Plough, which is part of Ursa Major. It looks a lot like a saucepan. The Plough rotates through the sky, but let's imagine the saucepan lying horizontally, with its handle on the left. You need to trace a line from the star at the right-hand base of the pan, through the star at the right-hand rim, and follow it upwards; the north star is roughly five times the distance between those two "pointer" stars. "Then drop a vertical line from the north star to the horizon and that's north," says Lawless.

Tonight is very cloudy and I can't see the Plough. Luckily, it is quite windy. "Keep in mind that almost all of our weather comes from a south-westerly direction," says Lawless (this only works if you are in the British Isles). Unless it's a bitterly cold wind, he adds, in which case it will freshwater pearl pendant be coming from the north. But tonight we just have a breeze, so that will tell me which way is south-west.

    You can also get
    By whoyg2955, 02:49

To find the direction, you can throw light bits of dried-out grass in the air and see which way they blow; lick your finger and hold it up (I still don't believe this really works); or, if there are clouds and patches of clear sky, see which way they blow across the stars. Or if you have long hair, like me, you can wholesale coral jewelry use it as a kind of wind sock (this gives me the edge over Lawless, who doesn't have much hair).

You can also get an idea of direction from leggy plants. If they look as if they have been blown over, they will probably be pointing north-east (because the wind that blew them over will have come from the south-west). If they are simply leaning in one direction as they grow, there's a good chance that is south (they will be reaching towards the sun), but this isn't always a reliable indicator. It has been said that moss only grows on the north side of tress, but this is a myth, says Lawless. "But sphagnum moss contains iodine [which has anti-bacterial properties] and makes a good field dressing," he says, which is handy for akoya pearl necklace when you inevitably trip over branches or brambles in the dark.

"Right, off you go," he says. "See if you can get a feel for the forest." I wander around in the dark on my own. I test wind direction, I look for the stars. I'm sure I could have made it back to Lawless with no real problem, but after about half an hour he starts calling my name with a note of slight panic in his voice, and I can see his head torch glinting between the trees in the distance. Remembering his advice for picking a point and heading straight towards it, that is what I do.

The joys of driving at night
    By whoyg2955, 02:48

TAfter the bars had shut, after the clubs had closed, when the last revellers had straggled home and the streets lay empty and black, then I would go driving. It was spring, and freshwater pearl earrings I would wind the window down, let the night-time in, let the air carry all that damp green wildness.

My love of night driving began in my teens: first as a passenger, riding home on a Friday night, heading out to the coast on early dates, holding hands at traffic lights. In those days, nothing seemed to embody our sweet new freedom more than driving after hours, driving with our music loud, driving with no particular place to go.

Later, I drove alone. It seemed the night enhanced the simple pleasure of solitude, and in the quiet of the empty car I focused upon the pressure of steering wheel beneath fingertips, the pull between clutch and accelerator, the glide from third to fourth. It seemed to free my mind.

There is, after all, something liberating about driving in the shell pearl jewelry dark. The streets lie largely empty – little traffic, few buses, just the occasional pedestrian along the way. Lit only by the moon or the odd street light, the landscape acquires a kind of hyperrealism: roads turn liquorice black, fields stretch broader, flatter than in daylight hours, the sky looks inkier, and on the verges, in the woods, the leaves hang greener, glassier.

Since those first teenage excursions I have taken night drives all over this land and others – to Camber Sands and Glastonbury, round London, up to Wales, through Mississippi, Massachusetts, Maine. But that spring I drove the lanes around where I grew up – through Roby Mill, Appley Bridge and Parbold. Sometimes I would drive on past my house and out to Lathom and Hoscar, out to where the land lay flat and marshy and still. These were roads I had known all of my life, only now they looked different, as hushed and akoya pearl jewelry peaceful as a familiar friend asleep.
